Konveio LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards. Konveio strives to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 level AA, which requires client- or user-generated content (such as uploaded PDFs, embedded pictures, or similar page elements) to be fully conformant.
To accomplish this, we recommend you follow a few best practices during the setup process of your document:
- Konveio renders documents in a screen reader accessible format as long as the PDF itself is compliant, meaning it includes all the necessary elements like image alt text, headers, color contrasts etc. Adobe Acrobat offers a simple tool to check that and make edits if needed.
- Beyond that, we recommend adding a few Featured Comments for users to reply to, which will be picked up by screen readers, so that users with a visual impairment can easily respond (since clicking on the PDF is not a task that screen readers understand).
