Branding and Homepage
Admin Dashboard
Users with the Administrator role have access to manage the entire site through the Dashboard. This includes the Settings & Comments tab. The Comments tab accessible only to the admin is a consolidated list of ALL comments from every document. Managers have access to comments and reporting through each Document.

The settings tab accessible to the Administrator account will display functionality to manage the Site Setup, Comments, Plan Hub, Terms & Conditions and Advanced tools. The tabs shown under the Dashboard will vary depending on the plan selected for your site.
Site Setup
- Site Name - Site Name is a mandatory field notated by the *, but it can be hidden by clicking on the hide site name radio button. This may be a desired option if your logo includes written content.
- Tagline - a tagline, if entered, will be displayed directly under the Site Name on your homepage. This can be left blank intentionally if no slogan or abbreviated content is desired.

Logo - You will see the Konveio logo loaded as a default on the site.
- Upload a new logo to replace default logo or click on hide logo checkbox to hide
- Logo has maximum height of 100px and will resize to fit that height.
- Homepage Instructions - this area will be shown right above the List of Documents on the homepage. Use it for a brief call to action or short instructions.
- Homepage Sort Order - Sort by most recent document first or alphabetically. To sort by date see the following FAQ - https://urbaninteractivestudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021016452-How-can-I-change-the-order-of-documents-
- Default Homepage Style - Select the view of documents on your homepage. List will be a vertical list view and Tiles will populate vertically with maximum three tiles per row.
- Topic and Keyword Filter - Enable Topic and Keyword filter for documents on home page or in Plan Library. Add as many document filters as desired through the add document filter button. When enabled topics must be entered to successfully upload a document. Once enabled topic types will be available across all documents.
- Homepage Sidebar Title - populated with “About” by default can be updated with a custom title.
- Homepage Sidebar Description - can be populated with additional detail and description.

Homepage Link to "More Info" - This is a button within the About block on the default homepage which allows you to add an additional URL to link to. Use this to add a "More Info" button to this box.
- Contact Us button will be enabled through the Advanced form discussed below.
- Select Alternative Homepage - Start typing the title of any content on your site to select a specific page (i.e Overview pages created as a new homepage). Leave empty to use default homepage.
- Teams (Enterprise Plan Feature) - This feature is included in the Enterprise plan and can be used to delineate content by teams.. Add teams to limit the visibility of documents, forms, overviews, and discussions to the specific departments they are assigned to. Categorize and manage documents more efficiently within the respective departments. If you do not want to categorize your documents leave all documents, forms, overview pages under the "general" category.
Comments
Enter in a character limit to determine the maximum length of comments.
Commenting - after updating the commenting, logout to test or paste url in a different browser to test your settings. If users that are not logged in must fill out the Email field on the comment form box is checked the "Hide email field" will be hidden and unavailable to select.

- Registering users at the site level or document level - From the site settings you use the check box on the allow users to submit comments without registering to the site for ALL documents. Conversely if the box is unchecked you will require registration or can set it at the document level. If users are registered the website will store comments by username allowing those users to edit or delete their comments under the My Comments tab in the top black Nav bar.
- Anonymous Commenters Checking the 2nd & 3rd box will require users to leave their name and email when commenting on ANY document unless Commenting is adjusted at the document level. The anonymous feature means that users may leave a fake name/email address. Unchecking this will still show the name/email field in the comment box but users will not be required fill in the information before submitting a comment. A comment entered without a name will be reported as anonymous.

- Comment Types - There are two standard comment types, Suggestion or Question, that are enabled and visible to all users by default when entering a comment. A drop down box will allow user will select the type of comment they are adding. Each comment type is color-coded. The order can be rearranged and different categories, added, renamed or deleted.
- Hiding Comment Types - by selecting the Manager-only radio button, the drop down for a comment type will be available for manager or administrator level to view/use.
- Comment Tags - Tags are a type of filter that can be added to the comments by the manager or administrator. This is often used for qualitative comment analysis or coding.
Comment Visibility - You will find this feature and ability to edit under each Document. By checking the unregistered user or registered user radio button, you will allow comments to be visible on the document.
Plan Hub
The Plan Hub includes the Plan Library Explorer, Lists and Mapping. This feature can be used to store and share documents categorized under stages, teams and topic. Users can use the AI powered search to ask questions across multiple documents to find information with page references.
Access Permissions:
- Anyone - registered and unregistered users
- Registered Users - registered users on Konveio, managers and admins.
- Admins & Managers - to limit access to admins and managers who are logged into the site.
Stages: by default we added three stages but this can be customized by adding or removing stages.
Explorer, Lists: Default language in both of these sections and can be updated by client/project. We recommend updating the questions examples to make them relevant to your documents. The Minimum Source Relevance slider will let you set the relevance of the results. The higher the setting will limit the number of results and sources.
Map: If enabled this feature will allow city maps and plan document to work together. Residents can click on a park or other mapped features and instantly see related policies from key planning documents- turning static maps into an AI-powered interactive tool.
- Enabled Map View - click radio button to enable. This features can be left disabled if not needed. It will require and ESRI plugin within ArcGIS experience builder app. Once the map is configured in ArcGIS, copy the embed code and paste it into the ArcGIS Embed Code box.
- Embed Code for Plan Library - copy the embed code to paste into the website you want to embed the Library into. The java script after the iframe will ensure the resizing will be seamless. If this doesn't work, try using the iframe only and adjust the height.

Hide black utility nav from header - this will hide the following links:

- My Comments - Quick access to comments made by current user
- Dashboard - Administrator and manager access to upload documents, manage comments and change settings

Contact Form - Allow participants to get in touch with your selected admin or manager for the site. When enabled this will populate a Contact Us button on the homepage. We highly recommend enabling the contact form by clicking the checkbox and assigning somebody on your staff to receive inquiries.
- Copyright Information - This will allow a copyright notice to be added to the bottom of the site. Replace “Konveio” with your organization.
- Site Time Zone - Dropdown with available timezones. Set this to your time zone to make sure that the end date of Comment Periods works as expected.
- Google Analytics GA4 - track how people are using your Konveio site, enter the Google Analytics ID for this property to the textfield. Learn more on how to set this up with our Google Analytics guide.

Google Translate - Check radio button to enable translation. When enabled this will populate the google translate dropdown in the lower righthand corner of the site and allow participants to choose desired language. By default, this will translate text throughout the website and on all pdf documents uploaded to the site. You will have the ability to turn off the translation on document in the Document>Edit>General Tab.

Zendesk Widget - Konveio offers basic technical support to you and your users. When the “Enable Zendesk Support Button” is selected the Help support button will appear in the bottom right corner of the site. Unselect the checkbox to remove the Support button. You and your team can still contact Konveio tech support by sending an email to support@konveio.com.
Users
Konveio provides a range of different access levels called user roles. Registered and unregistered users are participants engaging in the site.
- Unregistered - Can view documents and if enabled, unregistered users are able leave their name or to comment anonymously.
- Registered - Users register on the site by name and email. Email address is run through a verification process ensuring it is a valid email address. Registered users can post comments and view their comments on the My Comments tab
- Manager - Managers have access to post and manage documents, add pins and download comment reports for their own documents.
- Administrator - Highest level with access to all content and tabs, including site-wide settings.
